Interfacing cc2500 with 8051 microcontrollers

I want to configure cc2500 by using a AT89c51 and i could configure different registers via SPI but i am not getting how to bring the module in transmitting or receiving mode, I didn't find any register to bring it in transmitting or receiving mode.



please help me........

Did you try reading application note AN049 from TI? It has software examples and library functions for CC2500.

Also there are tonnes of other documents from TI on this chip. See the bottom of this page.
