Interfacing 16 bits SerDes IC to PC. Really need your help ASAP!!!!

I'm making a transceiver using a SerDes IC NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR - DS92LV16TVHG..

I have a problem in interfacing this IC with USB port in my laptop so that I can make a data communication from 1 PC to another PC by using that transceiver.

The IC has 16 bits parallel input and 16 bits parallel output to be interfaced with PC.

Can you help me or give me solution from the problem that I face?
