Hello. I'm new to this programming world and I need your help. I'm supposed to implement an Intel 8051 core in FPGA(Spartan 3E). So I checked the following websites:

1. Oreganosystems website. They offer codes only in VHDL.

2. Checked opencores.org. It includes verilog code here: https://opencores.org/project,8051,overview ... After I download them I couldn't understand the way they have arranged the files inside folders. I'm using Xilinx ISE 14.3 to test the code. As I couldn't manage the codes properly, I'm getting errors during synthesis.

I want to know if the codes from website 2 is the right source for me. If so I want to know how to proceed with synthesis and it's implementation on FPGA.

Thanks a lot...
