Did anyone out there tried to install windows apps on Linux. ex. counterstrike, online games. etc.?

install wine first.

I use WINE (WINdows Emulator) to run Windows programs in Linux.
Try using WINE.

I have tried installing cedega wine on Red Hat 9.0. After installing wine i have tried installing windows apps, unfortunately it didn't work. can u give me guys the procedure on how to install windows apps after i install wine.

the best way is install a virtual machine in the windows, then install the linux in windows.
you can run windows, and the linux can run tool.

I suggest you to install VMware on Linux. (If you have licensed Windows). it is almost impossible to run some heavy EDA tools like Cadence and ADS on virtual Linux machine in Windows.
