Installing Windows Apps on Linux.

Did anyone out there tried to install windows apps on Linux. ex. counterstrike, online games. etc.?
 

install wine first.
some of them can be run.
 

install cross-over office, and install on it any windows application
 

I have tried installing cedega wine on Red Hat 9.0. After installing wine i have tried installing windows apps, unfortunately it didn't work. can u give me guys the procedure on how to install windows apps after i install wine.

it need not install the window apps again in linux.
add the path of windos apps, and set right env. varies you can run .

and then
#wine app.exe
 

the best way is install a virtual machine in the windows, then install the linux in windows.
you can run windows, and the linux can run tool.

I suggest you to install VMware on Linux. (If you have licensed Windows). it is almost impossible to run some heavy EDA tools like Cadence and ADS on virtual Linux machine in Windows.
