I need an inductor rated 100uH,1.5Amps. How can I design one myself? I have some toroid ferrite cores with me (10mm dia x 5mm). Can I use these to make the required inductor? Please help.

First, please advise your application, PFC inductor or storage energy inductor or filter inductor, SMD configuration or pin through? then design the inductor.

First you need to find out that the core you have can sustain require power and current. use this tool to find out what ferrite you have got, by cross checking its dimensions n color
https://toroids.info/T68-2.php
once verified, enter the required inductance it will tell you number of turns required!!!
