1206 resistor typical inductance

All major manufacturers have some application notes that give information about resistor parasitic inductance or RF behaviour in general. For small SMD resistors in MOSFET and IGBT gate circuits, it can be simply ignored. Pulse power may be an issue, depending on the MOSFET input capacitance. There are considerable differences in pulse power handling of different resistor types. The topic has been discussed at edabord before.

If you're targetting to a MOSFET with a few A drain current, 0603 should be still sufficient.

resistor parasitic inductance

Unless you use wirewound resistors, I think it will not be a big change between resistor types. If you are very concerned, what about paralleling few resistors to decrease inductance?

thick film resistor inductance

@ 500kHz 0603 resistor type is not an issue ..
Don‘t waste your time ..

0603 resistors inductance is between 0,5 to 5 nH , that is despreciable for your working frequency.
Any references for this surprizing finding?

A 10 ohm 0603 resistor (thin- or thick film) can be expected to have at least several 100 MHz bandwidth. The largest
inductance amount observed with the mounted component is caused by the resistor film to return path (e.g. ground
plane) spacing and thus design dependant, but it's in a PCB trace of same shape's order of magnitude.

0603 resistor parasitic inductance

gs can replaced by capinthis value:

Cin= Cgs{Ciss} + Cds{Crss}×(Vds (off)/Vgs)
then in lab you can see resonance of Vgs by scope &and all un expected parasitc condition after it Rgs and Rg can be selected truly
finally replacing the cap by MOSFET confirm resultes
