Increasing the current of stepper driver ic (l297 / l298)

How can i increase the current capacity of l297/ l298 stepper driver ic, the ic can withstand only 2 amps but my stepper motor is 3amps how can i solve this, is there any high current stepper driver ic available,

You can parallel 2 l298 to obtain 4A capacity
