Implementing ARQ to RF module transceivers

help with protocols

Hello Everyone,

I finally bought two rf module transceivers that connect via rs232. But these devices don't have ARQ. Does anyone know of strategies to implement these?

In addition, where can i find resources for programming serial port connectios via C++ , C?

I have found Beyond Logic to be a good resource for computer interfacing.

I'm sure there are other resources if you search the forums.
