image processing on embedded sysytem

hi,
can any body tell me how to start with image processing on emedded sysytem??
 

If you already know digital signal processing (theory) then your next step is to by a starter kit and start practicing!
 

starter kit of what??
i have worked alot on MCU PIC but starter kit available for dsPIC are suitable fou audio signals only
so what to do??

I will recommend you to start with DSP kits of DM6446 from TI.
Moreover look at my home page there are some paper for video for reconfigurable processors or asic implementations.

work on any dsk (dsp starter kit),u can get it of any company like T.I
