If using mentor DFT tools ,do I have to use modelsim as ATPG simluator?

never using ncverilog or Vcs ?


anyone please help me ?
 

no its not mandatory....you can also use fastscan for atpg and vcs for simulation...
 

Definitely not - ATPG and simulation are completely orthogonal...
