I would suggest you to work on latest wireless LAN or WiMax Standards.

in what area or field of electronics are you good enough?A wireless monitoring system (pyrometer, humidity,temperature,motor condition and etc) for example, that you have to program the device (microcontoller) and interface it to a PC thru RF module (antenna) wirelessly.
