I hate to change the user preference everytime I start cadence. Is there a way to save the user preference? I think there should be, just I don't know :(

So, please, if you know.

Thanks a lot!

Sure. Just choose "Save Defaults" under "Options" menu and "OK"

hi,

what kind of setting you want to restore? You can also replay a session e.g. if you want always the same window configuration. Just start DFII, open your application, change size an position of your application windows. When you are finished, you just have to save the CDS.log file as e.g. myCDS.log. Then start icms -replay myCDS.log --> all actions, which are sored in the log file will be executed.

kind regards
hqqh
