[SOLVED] IC to step down 4.2v to 3.3v

is there any IC to stepdown battery voltage ranging from 3.7-4.2v to 3.3v

Added after 1 hours 23 minutes:

i am using a zener diode.jus wanted to know is there any other way other than zener.
any way thanks
 

A low dropout regulator (LDO). Which one depends on the current you require. Have a look here:

Depends on how you define 'better'. Lower power dissipation but more expensive, more complicated and electrically noisier.
