I2C interface problem with reading data from the slave

I am working with I2C inteface. for reading data from the slave , host is reading alway ones. for sending I am not facing any problem.

Can anyone tell me what might be the problem?
Is there any hardware problem?

Which is the slave device you are using? Does it require any delay between send and read commands?

u should set the delay of slave

the problem may be from the timing of both send or receive data.
