I need to read USB memo key from embedded system ?

I need to read USB memo key from embedded system (8051)

e.g. the target is to transfer larg data files from pc to embedded via memo key and vice versa

can any one help pleas

Hi there,

Great idea. I think the bottleneck will be that your 8051 system must emulate the USB memokey's Device driver.

I'm really interrested.
 

One solution, if not the one you ask for is a memory key that uses a SD or MMC card, check sandisks new “cruzer” line of products.

Guess it would be a lot easyer to interface a SD card then find a USB host chip and write storage drivers for that.
