hi

it seems that this topic was mentioned before, but there is no answer,
i just want to change my x-axis from vgs to vgs-vth,

1- i sweep vgs
2-plot vgs-vth
3-click on x axis to change variable (change to vgs-vth)

to test that the axis is changed, plot vgs vs the new variable (vgs-vth)
it show something like y=x
which is wrong when we change the x axis variable
it means that the axis variable dose not change

thanks

In your first image, clicking the black triangle: Plot_vs_window.png ... doesn't it show you this possibility?

If not, use the calculator to define your x-axis.

Try double-clicking on the X axis. You should get a "chooser"
popup that includes "vgs" (or whatever the swept value was)
and all of the plotted outputs that are presently in the window.
If you want an X-axis that isn't on this list you first have to
make/select the expression and plot, then choose.

hi
thanks for reply
actually i can change the x-axis, as i attached before, but it dos not work correctly,in other word
when i change the x axis, nothing happen, and no change to my plot

I kind of doubt that IC5.x has changed since I left it, so
I suggest you look a little more carefully at what you are
selecting, or maybe even open the waveform viewer
manual.

If you want the vgs-vth axis, you need to have that
expression created and plotted along with the rest. Only
then will it be provided to select.

This is not recognizable from your before shown pictures, so I think, you did not - or not succeed to - change your x-axis.

It can't work, because you didn't succeed in.
