Hi,
I need to perform the board level thermal analysis of a mother board on which a daughter board is perpendicularly placed.
From HyperLynx user manual, such daughter boards can be simulated as a reference component with the total power dissipation of the daughter board. later separate board analysis is required for the daughter board.
Can anyone walk me through the process ?
How can I create the reference component ? Is it done on HyperLynx thermal itself or some other Ecad software ?
