Hi,
I'm thinking of tracking a human within certain area. The person can carry any circuit with him/her so that the person's identity is located.I wish to track the person wirelessly and able to locate the person (no need camera tracking -some person's ID number would be enough to show in PC) I need to track within an area of 300 meters

Can anyone give me some idea how to implement this ?
This is an home project for myself.

Thanks

u can use rfid for tarcing the presence of the human within the 300 meters range the person can carry the rfid TAG either active r passive u can interface the rfid receiver to the PC

Hi flemmard.. you make many difficult and exciting projects at home..

Well.. listen.. this is a very easy project..

All you have to do is to work on RF modules..

they are very small and the person can be easily detected..

you can find them at :

the tutorial number is 12..

rfid is good solution

How can RFID work at the range of 300 metres..?

Regards,

Simran..

There are new cell phones with GPS modules that can do it automatically. Some commercial systems are available today like a small wristwatch, that can locate a person by GPS almost anywhere.
RFID only works at the RFID reader location, the range usually is 1-3 meters.
