Hello,

I want to know that is there any way to update existing program of pic controller using external storage interface? like pendrive, sd card...

I want to interface pen drive, or sd card whichever is suitable for the selected controller
and update its current program.

Hi,

To update a microcontroller with an SDcard you first need a bootloader software inside the microcontroller.

Hi,
Visit Microchip website for various bootloader available for series of pic chips. Not all chip can handle the same bootloader, due to internal memory size.

Hi,

I think you have access to google, wikipedia and other informations.
Even microchip should have some application notes... I assume

But for sure you need to decide a lot of things:
* microcontroller type
* interface
* ...
