How to transfer data to a server over GPRS connection ??

i want to ask u about a problem i get in using an M2M application using GPRS MODULE

I am using NOKIA N12 GSM/GPRS module


my target application is to use this module to transfer data from micro-controller to a server on NET or send this data Via Email

i am working now on how to transfer data to SERVER, but i got some problems:

i have established a GPRS connection

but i don't know how to transfer data to the server ????

could anyone could help me plz???

First some questions.

Do U have a server que you can see what U send ? If no, pls, let me know and I can send u an application to run on a pc.

Once your server lisnten to the port you specify, u can use an AT command by which U specify the number of bytes you are going to send. Then you type the characters and when the count is finished, the packet is sended.

I used it and works OK. SIMCOM brings it to make test but should work with your module.

I WAS TRYING TO DOWNLOAD A FILE THAT I´VE DOWNLOADED FROM EDABOARD.

GO TO THE FOLLOWING LING AND DOWNLOAD THE FILE SERVER.ZIP
