how to test whether 8051 is burned or not?

hello,
i am doing a project by using AT89C51. I have burned the IC with my program but now i want to check whether this IC is really burned or not.

Is there any method or test points by which you can check it?
I am not using any ADC like components so probably its not possible to check its output (particular waveform) on CRO..

Old 89C51 dont have builtined ADC, newer versions on 8051 family have.

Try to see what programmer say, ID recognition and read/write operations.

If ID recognition and read/write works in programmer, try to put some code to test pins, on example to switching some leds.

Even all works and show that is ok, my advice is to mark this uC and use it in some projects of minor importance. Specially dont use it in developing process, for that use new.
