hey I am confused as to how to implement intel 8051 in verilog hdl using fpga. I have no prev experience except for basic digital design knowledge. I got like 3 days.

Hi,

I´m not sure...
do you want to
* implement an 8051 into an FPGA
* or the FPGA functionality into an 8051

Klaus

If the assignment is: find an existing 8051 open source implementation, manage to compile it and run a simulation testbench, this might work.

You would pick a FPGA design tool and import the library component for
the 8051. Designing a 8051 in Verilog for a beginner would be
like asking a kid in high school to derive Maxwells Electromagnetic
field theory equations during next test period (1 hour).

Regards, Dana.
