Hi,

In soc encounter, how to set the parameter about clock tree such as
insert delay and skew? I cannot find the menu.

thanks a lot

soc encounter

Refer to encounter user guide, there is a chapter of synthesizing clock trees. And I do recommend you write a Clock Tree Specification File to fully control it. GUI is not so recommended.

SDC from front-end sythesis tools can be used to constrain the Clock tree. it also the front-end designer want the clock tree should be.

soc encounter cts

Hi,

Everyone use the *.cts file. Refer to the chapter "Synthesizing clock Trees" in the Encounter user guide(soceUG.pdf). You can use "specifyClockTree -template" command to output a template.
