how to set op-amp spec?

Hi
anyone know how we should select (set) op-amp spec (gain, phase margin, UGBW, ...) in various application. (if we are op-amp designer).
is there any reference.

Check out opamp selection guides. From that you'll get an basic understanding of the specs required for different types of applications. Later you can pick up some basic opamp book to have a better understanding of the specs.

If you were refering to cmos op-amp design specs then books by maloberti or allen and hollberg are a really good.
