Here i am storing the FAX Messages as they come for retrieval by the user at a later time. i am able to store the FAX Messages correctly now i am taking printouts from PC but i need to elliminate the use of external Printer. I am New to FAX Machines, i would be thankfull for your help in this regard

1. is it possible to send a kind of local FAX to the FAX machine from my device without going through the telephone exchange, something like we have an intercomm connection between two phones for voice.?

2. upto my knowledge i feel FAX Machine waits for a RING and then it starts accepting the FAX Message. is it possible to do this without a RING if not how can i generate a RING locally so that i can fool the FAX machine to think that it has actually received a FAX from Out Side.?

FAX and Other Modem Alogorithms i have implemented on a DSP what are the other Firmware considerations that i have to keep in Mind.

Hi

Pls follow the T.30 standard from the ITU-T

I Searched but could not find the sepecifications. at the initial stage i can not purchase it from ITU. so can you give some links where i can get further technical details on its implementation.

T.30

**broken link removed**

Also T.4 and T.6 might be interesting for you. Fax Machine does this job, but fax modem doesn't
