How to Select different Multiplier in Ambit Buildgates

I have lots of signed multiplication in my design. Multiplier given by buildgates are not fast enough. can i select different multiplier in buildgates??

or i have to write my own multiplier??

Signed multiplication can be done by using buildgates butas u said it might be slower, why cant u optimize it for speed . that is possible in buildgates, area optimization is as well possible.

u shud follow some algorithm for multiplication.. and for signed multiplication there shud be one efficient algorithm which might speedup ur process.
