Hi all,
Can anyone tell me how to select different modes in DFT?
There are the 5 modes given below. How to approach to write the DFT scripts for the same.
1. Scan
2. Mbist
3. pll
4. pcie
5. usb

two ways:
1- rtl hardcoded to select the test mode
2- DFT tool add JTAG to access this different mode.

Hi
Can you explain in detail how to to do this in two ways?

Can you give me any Example code for accessing modes using DFT tool add JTAG?

Hi
JTAG Boundary-Scan Insertion will be doing with BSD Compiler or DFT compiler?

RTL changes: you write your code to be able to connect the internal signal you want to check on pads, we call this functional test mode, because, you could simulate at RTL level. As well, you could implement the JTAG at rtl level.
DFT: JTAG/BIST could be added by DFT tool as you mentionned.
The bist could be done by software, the core itself check the memories or by hardware (rtl or DFT tool).
