you they can be cracked - but good luck with that! why would you want to do that? It's someone elses property (and IP), so cracking can be considered theft.
Apart from this, you can add those IP blocks without a problem in you design. You just need a wrapper.
Apart from the IP blocks that you can't "try before you buy", there is sometimes the possibility that the IP has a time limited operating time (say 1hr)
If this is not possible you have two options:
either you buy it
or you develop yourself (and spend the same amount of time/money that the IP vendor is selling it for)
If your boss can't afford the money to buy the IP - your boss is targetting the wrong project

My point exactly. So mann4uonlyed, before going about "I NEED t3h cracked!" how about just checking the availability of a trial version from the vendor itself. Did you do that?
