how to reduce the usage of SRAM size for ATMEGA48

i have programmed ATMEL ATMEGA48 micro controller using C language.
i have used arrays and so mnay global variables for my project. It uses 400 bytes of SRAM.
and I Want 200 bytes of SRAM.
So pls help me to solve this problem.

You have to optimize the using of variables. Another way, u can using external RAM.
