Hi,i am new to filter designing.I know their are some defined procedures for designinng analog filters (butterworth,chebyshev1,chebyshev2).What i want to know is how do we realize the filters from their equations.Any material on this subject would be helpful.
regards.

You can make a reference to :
1,chapter 9 in "CMOS analog circuit design" by Allen
2,Chapter 35 in "CMOS mixed-signal circuit design" by R.Jacob Baker

it will depend , what technology , integrated or discreet
if integrate u have SC switched capacitor , Gm-C , Mos R C filters

if discrete , it will eb OPAMP based

khouly
