How to process images coming from web cam

How can I process image coming from a web cam connected to a computer using MATLAB or any other software . Is there any usefull link..

Matlab has huge support for Image processing. check out on google or even on this forum, Image processign in Matalab.

If you know DirectShow API, you can use it to process images taken from webcam.
