Hello all!
I am trying to perform some simulations on a TIA circuit on Cadence Virtuoso. In particular I am interested in plotting the BER vs input power graph, however I don't know any method to do so.
For a particular input power I could measure the output swing it produces and divide it by the the output integrated noise. Then get the BER factor through the Q function.
So if the above procedure is correct, I guess I could create a script to plot a range of BERs, but I wonder if this is the way you do that.
BTW, is the procedure for getting a particular BER right?
Thank you very much!
Santi
