Dear All:

I try to measure the bandwidth of the OPAMP (real chip).
But I have no idea on it.
Can you give me some comments about that?
Thanks^^

See P.E.Allen's book "CMOS Analog circuit Design" you can find the detailed solution. Good Luck!

The bandwidth of an op amp is measured as a diffrence between upper cutoff frequency & lower cutoff frequency. If u r working with simulators take 0.707 of the maximum value and find the upper & lower cutoff frequencies & measure.

I wonder how to measure real chip frequency response too, or how to use normal lab instruments to fulfill this job.
May be you can derived it from small step transient response of opamp's unit buffer application.

Thanks! Buddies.

I have another question.
How to measure the SNR of OP in real chip?

u can use network analyzer to measure GBW of OPAMP that is connected with unit-gain follower
