how to measure 5v ac rms value in pic 10bit adc please tel how to measure ac can i use diode to clip the negative?
 

Scale 5V AC RMS to 2.5V AC RMS and then add 2.5V to it so that 2.5V will be 5V and -2.5V, 0V. Now read this level shifted DC 5V and do the calculation to get 5V AC RMS for 5V dc at adc pin.
