How to make CAN bus with PIC?

CAN bus for pics

I have to make a CAN bus with PIC and i would like to know where can i get good information and examples about it.

the microchip website is the best place to go for info. there are lots of app notes available. i would suggest using one of the pics with CAN on board like the 18F248 and then you will need a transciever like the mcp2551 to make the physical connection. you can build the whole inteface with those two pieces and a few support components...

You can use the MCP2510 Stand-Alone CAN Controller and conect to SPI BUS with a PIC. In this case you can use more than one hardware CAN Bus.
