PADS supports both VB scripts and recorded macros. What are you trying to automate in your CAD program ? if this is some generic settings such as loading a color scheme, visibility options etc., you can record a macro and run it each time you want to repeat the exercise. The same macro can be converted as a script and loaded into PADS program using the dialogue box you have shown in the attachment.
