I would like to learn more about Gigabit Ethernet Phy chips functionalities ,
and currently , I have IEEE 802.3 2002 edition , but you know that IEEE STD are hard to read , and hard to understanding ,

I am very appreciated for this networking forum creation , and hope to looking help about GbE Phy technology materials , papers , Ebooks , or training materials

Hi,

I am in the same boat as you. It is very hard to understand the standard. But there is no escape. I would suggest you go in this order.
(1) Scrambler
(2) PCS Rx state diagram
(3) Tx state diagram.
