Hi every one ,

in my design Powersupply,Buffer,FPGA section and Reset circuit is there i need to do in Hierachical design i don't know how to start the hierarchical design .what is the use of Hierachical design ??

please Help me any one to design Hierachical design ??

Hi,

A hierarchical design is one where the structure – or sheet-to-sheet relationships – in the design is represented. This is done by symbols, which represent lower sheets in the design hierarchy.
The symbol represents the sheet below, and the sheet entries in it represent (or connect to) the ports on the sheet below.
The advantage of the hierarchical design is that it shows the reader the structure of design, and that the connectivity is completely predicable and easily traced, since it is always from the child sheet up to the sheet symbol on the parent sheet.

See attached Image Hierarchy.png

mention the tool which you are using.

Hi anil,
Thanks for your reply. i am using cadence allegro (caputure CIS) if you don't mine can you give any sample design for my reference or else give step by step process to achieve the Hierarchical design, because in design has buffer section,FPGA section and then power supply is there.
please guide me
