A person who does not know anything about electronics...but want to learn electronics..what should he do??
He has to start from zero level...what you people suggest him to do first??
i.e what from what books he might take a start??
(like in courses mostly taught
..basic electric circuits
..semiconductor theory
..analog electronics......etc)
what should he do first??
Please recommend some good books for him to start from basics!!

First you should search this forum for the electronics bigenner and read all these topics. However, still suggest you here also, that start with BASIC ELECTRONICS by Bernard GROB. It will cover the basics of electricity, semiconductor basics, circuits analog and digital, all from scratch.

Hi..
as u are a starter ...
you should read first and foremost about semiconductors...
and u can read even
1. BASIC ELECTRONICS by bhargava
2. FOUNDATION OF DIGITAL AND ANALOG ELECTRONICS BY Anant Agarwal, Jeffrey H Lang ....
..

best of luck.....

If u r starting as a formal student, u should go step by step, from basic electric circuits onto amplifiers and filters and digitall..

If u want to learn electronics as a hobbyist, radioshack books r an excellent resource

BASIC ELECTRONICS BY V.K MEHTA is gud for begineers

Hi Friend,

I suggest "PRINCIPLES OF ELECTRONICS" by V.K.Metha S.Chand Publishers.

Refer "Principles of Electrical Engg" by Allan R.Hambley Prentice Hall of India.
