how to interface gps module with msp430g2553 mixed signal microcontroller

Hello;
I am working on a project for which i need to interface MSP430G2553 MCU with GPS Module......please help me which type of GPS module would this microcontroller be able to interface
........... are there any limitations for which type of gps modules could be interfaced..............
please help me asap ..... i am a beginner in robotics........

hello,
First of all you see weather your gps module receive in binary format or in NMEA format??
after that if there are some input commant of your gps receiver to configure the gps module....although the MCU u are using can able to interface the gps receiver...even 8051 can do that...
