how to install cadence ic5 on ubuntu 6.10

I tried to install cadence ic5 on ubuntu 6.1 and followed instructions in this thread: .
The problem is that after I run "softload", I got following errors:

Use ubuntu 5.1
 

incompatability of the application and the OS, change OS may help
 

IC5 is design to work with RHEL 2.1
