does anyone of you know how to input alphanumeric from the 3x4 keypad and display it on the lcd? it's the same concept with those mobile phones. first press the letter(s) will appear, the last press will be the number ... for example if i press buttons in the keypad like 1abc, 2def, 3ghi, 4jkl, 5lmn, 6opq, 7rst, 8uvw, 9xyz... first press 'a', second 'b', third 'c', fourth '1'... i am very much grateful any means of help from you guys.... thanks in advance....

Re: alphanumeric input

No one knows such a thing??

alphanumeric input

You could run a timer while scanning for more presses.

Use a state machine/case statement to determine which character to get from a table.
