How to increase the volume of a telephone set?

Bought a home telephone set last week. However, I found out the volume of the telephone set is too low or soft. Is there anyway to increase the volume? There is no button for me to increase the volume. Pls advise and thanks in advance.

P/S: NOT the ringing volume
