PACD netlist import

I am using the PCAD2004 in that i am not finding any option to import the netlist.
Now i am having the netlist generated from orcad->netlist->others->pcad but i am not finding in tool option to import netlist

Re: PACD netlist import

You load a netlist by going to the menu selection UTILS>>LOAD NETLIST. You will get a dialog that gives you choices regarding the format and options.

Re: how to import orcad netlist into PCAD

Hi i tried the same option it is giving error.

currently i generated the netlist from orcad->netlist->other->pcadntl.

so plz help me to imoprt the netlist and also tell me the procedure.

i am using PCAD2004 version. i tried the load netlist option it is giving syntax error/ not a tango format

Re: PACD netlist import

The error you are getting says that PCAD can't read the file format produced by Orcad. Try using the Tango netlist format from Orcad instead. PCAD should be able to read that format.
