Hello everyone,

I am trying to import CST microwave studio time simulations results to MATLAB, the ascii export works but is very tedious and cannot be used for 3d field results. Is there a method to import CST Microwave Studio field results files (.t3d) to MATLAB directly

Best regards,
Adel

Re: CST

Hello Adel,

can you elaborate? What exactly are you trying to export and calculate in MATLAB?
Are you trying to post-process the 3D-time-varying-fields from CST?

CST

yes that is exactly what I am trying to do, I have an antenna and want to plot the field distribution along a certain axis vs frequency on a colormap. I can do it using text export but it would be much more easier if I can import CST results file directly

CST

I think you can do this in CST without export.
