hi
in RF Mixer or amplifier what is better to implement a current source transistor
by RF transistor or mixed mode(base band)ordinary one..?
thanks

Re: Current source..?

use a bandgap and output the current

Re: Current source..?

Hello...

Do you mean bias part of an RF circuit ?

Well, I think as long as It's DC, baseband models are quit enough. Just remember that RF models can be used down to DC, but baseband models can never be used at RF, However, usually RF models have limited dimensions to decrease parasetics, so is you need large size for your bias "Usually the case", and RF transistors are not good, use baseband.
