However, what you can do is Disable automatic indexing. BTW, Windows 7 search is pretty fast, I don't see any reason why would anybody not like.

I agree , but How can I search specific file type like .jpg , .pdf outta bunch of various file types ?

That way search result will only show jpg or pdf files.
