Dear all
can any one please help me,
how to find cross polarization from near field measurement system?
and which data will need to plot to get cross polarization for E plane and H plane?

thanks for your help

Re: how to find cross polarization from near field measureme

I think you need to remeasure the antenna but with prob rotate 90° to main polarization
of the antenna than after transform you will get the cross pattern.

thanx
i will try to remeasure.

Exactly !

In order to know the general EM field picture you need to measure the 2 orthogonal fields (amplitude and phase) and then you can reconstruct the general field everywhere in space, using mathematical transforms (supplied with the Near field scanners softwares).
Apply it for Far-Field and you can then find the Cross-Polarization ratio.
