hi,
am just a beginner,
just clearly tell me how i should export the packages in orcad layout ver9.1,and import to allegro 16.3.
LAYOUT.JPG
ERROR.JPG
IMPORT 1.JPG
EXPORT 1.JPG

1.I tried to translate the layout but am receiving this error file.
2.these are options for import and export, now i want all the package,pads.how to do?

In your PCB Editor utilities there will be pad designer,pcb editor to pcb router,Orcad translator etc...
when you open the orcad translator it will ask for input directory to select the orcad layout file and ouput directory and file name for converting it to allegro file.
After doing above actions pick translate.Refer attached image.

file->import->cad translator->orcad layout
PCB Editor utilities ->Orcad translator,they both are same,but am finding the error" invalid character in design",so what are they? how to rectify.
i don't have ,even 1% of knowledge in orcad layout ver 9.1.
can u tell me how to import & export the library from 9.1 to 16.3.

It seems you have special character(ARM_PC) in your design name.
change your design name and try.i have converted through that many times.
Only that sometimes you will lose some connectivity but the package symbols remain the same.
